Finally there was a glorious day in the fall so I decided to take my baby skipper for a walk. Skipper is my new puppy. Not only is he my new puppy, but he is also my very first pet in my life. I am so excited to finally take him for our very first walk together because it has been raining since the day I brought him home. As I pulled up into the drive way I could see his tiny face peeking through the curtains. As soon as I walked through the door he jumped on me in excitement of the weather. He immediately hoped off me and ran to the corner, and brought his leash to me. I buckled him up and headed straight down the path. As we were heading down the street we spotted a great big dog running toward us. In panic, Skipper hides behind me. Furiously, the giant size dog is barking and going crazy. My poor little chi Wawa began to whimper and cry as this large pit bull tries to attack him. “HELP!” I screamed. “Some body help me please! Me and my puppy are being attacked.”
A young man looks out hid door and spotted us. I prayed he was coming out to help. He was! As he ran he shouted, “I’m so sorry”. When he reached us he immediately snatched the dog and told him to quiet down. The man continued apologized for our distress. I felt so bad for my little puppy. I took him right home and held him tight in my hands until he was relaxed. Then I fed him some tasty puppy snacks.
